Ambassador ENDO Kazuya and Madame ENDO Akiko visit Baguio City

From 28 February 28 to 01 March 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya and Madame ENDO Akiko visited Baguio City. He delivered a guest speech at the Grand Floral Float Parade of the Panagbenga Baguio Flower Festival, the city's largest annual festival. In his remarks, Ambassador Endo praised the creative and unwavering development of Baguio City following the 1990 earthquake. He also expressed his hope that the 70th Anniversary of Philippines-Japan Friendship would grow even stronger in the future, similar to the cherry blossoms that recently bloomed in Baguio.
   
During this visit, Ambassador and Madame Endo paid a courtesy call on Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City and had fruitful discussions on the cooperation between Japan and Baguio City. They also had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Carlos Teraoka, former President of the Philippine Nikkei-jin Kai Rengokai, Inc., and former Honorary Consul-General in Baguio.
